Following our recent investment in 3D printers, we spent several days perfecting the prints, quality & usage of the various materials available on the market, such as PLA, TPU & PETG. 

 

This has been very exciting for our team. We are delighted with the capabilities & have already taken on several projects for our customers. 

Above is an example of a customer who had previously used wooden blocks. This needed to be more accurate and became a real nuisance when they were falling into the swarf trays while unloading profiles. Our solution was to offer fully customised 3D-printed recycled black PLA blocks designed to fit the profile and remain secure without the need for tooling.
